This Privacy Policy explains how the Dominican Dominoes mobile application ("the App") handles information. We built the App to be a simple, fun dominoes game and we keep data collection to a minimum.
You can play the App, including online multiplayer and in-app purchases, without creating an account. If you choose to sign in, we store your account email address and a user identifier so your coins, unlocked themes, and progress can sync across devices. You can delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → Delete Account), which permanently removes your account data from our servers.
Purchases (such as coin packs and premium themes) are processed by Apple through StoreKit and managed with RevenueCat, which receives purchase receipt information and an app user identifier to validate and restore purchases. We never see or store your payment card details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. To serve ads, AdMob and its partners may collect certain device information, such as a mobile advertising identifier, device type, and general usage data, in accordance with Google's own privacy practices. You can learn more and manage your choices in Google's policy: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
On iOS you can limit ad tracking at any time via Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
When you play an online match, the App transmits the information needed to run the game (such as the room code, a display name you type for that match, and the moves played). During a match you can send short text messages and voice messages to the other players in your room. These messages are relayed in real time to the players in your match and are not retained after the match ends. Recording a voice message uses your device's microphone only while you hold the record button, and only after you grant microphone permission.
Players can report inappropriate messages from within the game. Reports (including the reported player and reason) are sent to our servers so we can review misconduct and keep the game safe.
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Accounts are optional, and in-game chat is limited to the players in a match and is not stored after the match ends.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
