This Privacy Policy explains how the Dominican Domino mobile application ("the App") handles information. We collect only the information needed to provide the game, online play, purchases, and the features you choose to use.
You can play without signing in. The App creates a pseudonymous player identifier for a guest installation so our service can provide online play and save game progress. If you choose to sign in through our authentication provider, Clerk, we receive your email address and an internal user identifier. Account-associated information can include your display name, game progress, coins, and unlocked themes.
You can choose a display name that other players may see during online games. A legal name and phone number are not required. You may also choose an image for your custom board or domino-tile theme. For guest play, the image stays on your device. For a signed-in account, it is uploaded to account-associated storage so the theme can sync across devices; it is used for your own game appearance and is not sent to other players.
For online matches, our game server processes the room code, player display names, moves, and game state needed to run the match. Text and short voice messages are relayed in real time to players in that match and are not saved as messages after the match ends. Voice recording uses your device's microphone only after you grant permission and while you hold the record control.
If you report a player, the reported player, reporter, and reason are sent to our server and recorded in server logs for moderation review.
Purchases, such as coin packs, themes, and the option to remove ads, are processed by Apple through StoreKit on iOS or Google Play Billing on Android. RevenueCat helps manage purchases and entitlements and receives purchase history, receipt information, and an app user identifier to validate or restore purchases. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat handle their own transaction records under their respective policies. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share your IP address, ad and app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers (such as the Android advertising ID or app set ID) for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. Ads are not personalized unless you make that choice through the consent flow where it is presented. You can review available ad privacy choices in the App and your device settings. On Android, you can review or reset the advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads. On iOS, you can manage tracking permissions in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Delete an account in the App from Profile → Delete Account, or request deletion outside the App at dominodominican.com/account-deletion.html. Deleting an account removes its server-side profile, saved game and shop data, associated uploaded custom images, and app sessions. Reports already recorded in service logs are handled separately and may be retained for moderation or security review. Guest-only data stored locally on your device is not deleted by deleting a signed-in account. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may retain their own purchase records under their policies.
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. Age and child-privacy rules can differ by country. A parent or guardian who has a concern about a child's information can contact us using the account-deletion page above.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
